Gamma members currently can’t invite team members directly. Creating a team on your own won’t work right away due to some limitations of the granted Gamma subscription.
⚠️ Version compatibility reminder
Gamma builds are ahead of the public release, so collaboration between different versions (Gamma and public) may not work as expected.
What happens if Versions Mismatch
If you open a workspace in a newer Gamma build that includes a schema update, it becomes incompatible with the public version your teammates use.
- You can roll back to an earlier version of the project, but any changes made in the newer Gamma build will be lost.
- Projects created in a newer Gamma build will not open in older versions, which can block collaboration.
When Issues Resolve
These compatibility problems are temporary. Once the Gamma build is released publicly (usually within about a week), the problem is resolved automatically.
👥 Team Setup Support
We can create your team and add members manually.
What We Need to Set Up Your Team
Please share:
- Your desired team name.
- The Shapr3D account emails of the teammates you want to include..
Avoiding Version Conflicts
To avoid version conflicts when collaborating, your teammates can get Gamma access. This keeps everyone on the same app version while testing Teamspace features and avoids any compatibility issues.
Note: To keep Gamma membership active, teammates need to spend at least three hours per week in the Gamma build before the public release.
📨 How Teammates Can Apply for Gamma
Where to Apply
Your teammate should apply directly via the Gamma Application Page.
Application Requirements

✅ Next Steps After Approval
